Lara laughed. "You're not wrong, though I can say from experience bad decisions also lead to back pain." Not that she was going to go into detail, but she's definitely had put herself into situations where her back would be "thanking" her later.
"Great," she made sure she had all of her mail with her. "I'll see you shortly." This was fine, right? Totally fine, she knew Steve. Well, she didn't really know him, but it was fine. While sharing a mind with Wanda and Bucky wasn't exactly the best week of her life, at least she knew that Steve was someone she could trust, even if trusting people wasn't exactly a skill of hers.
When Lara made it up to her flat and dropped off everything, she felt frozen on what to do next. Leave it to her, to just overthink everything. This version of Lara definitely made more of an effort to go out with friends, lunch, dinners, parties, she certainly had a better handle on the social life. She just shrugged it off, quickly washed her face, cleaned up a bit and headed back down to the main floor.
She could easily let this version of Lara drive, and who knows, Lara could use these lessons whenever the reset happens.
