"They do say with age comes wisdom, at least for some." Lara joked. Just about everyone could name a handful of adults where that didn't apply, but she personally liked to think that she was gaining wisdom, even if she was in her early twenties. That and, Lara did make a habit of doing something stupid regardless.
Lara shrugged, "No judgement from me, mate. You're looking at the queen of homebodies." Derleth Lara kicked in, caught off guard by his invitation. Old Lara, that is, the Lara from before Derleth would've immediately but politely turned down, even if it was just two friends getting something to eat.
The Lara she was becoming in Derleth, well she was trying to force herself out of her comfort bubble. She tried to live her life in a way that would make Sam and Jonah proud. Attending parties, auditioning for plays, and maybe grab a bite with a friend. Even if Lara had no idea who Steve was, Empire City Lara did know him, and found his company pleasant.
"You know, count me in. I could actually go for something to eat, I'm starving." She smiled at him. "If you want, I can meet you back here in say twenty minutes?"
