Re: LOKI
Loki's touch sent a shiver down Stephen's spine, but it was what was said that made him pause and draw back far enough to look Loki in the face, pondering over his evaluation. I am? his eyes expressed his thoughts, and with a blink he looked away, still thinking this over.
The memory update involving 'Darkter Strange', as Stephen affectionately began to call him, seemed so long ago ... and while it initially had been a devastating shock, the memories had integrated so well that he hardly considered it. The memories of breaking the multiverse for Peter Parker and remembering his past interactions as an egotistical surgeon and how awful he treated Christine was more on the forefront now.
Was he being desperate? If Loki was talking about how he was trying to find somebody to replace Allison (first Elsa, then Lara and Rita... Loki could also be thrown into that list) then yeah, he had to admit he was.
Stephen shrugged one shoulder and casually muttered, "Derleth," as if that that could explain it away. His experiences in Derleth was changing him, just like every body else, and he didn't take it seriously.
