Loki laughed. Hugh never ceased to amuse him. Then he raised his glass with a quote from Oberon himself.
"Then, my queen, in silence sad, Trip we after the night's shade: We the globe can compass soon, Swifter than the wandering moon."
Loki took a sip. "I have no doubt that you will make a fine and regal queen, my dear Mr. Christian. And I am, of course, looking forward to the view." Loki followed his glance to the other version of Hugh. "I don't know. I think yo might be surprised. And maybe I'm the one who scared him off."
