Before the week is up, then. I'm often up there if you wander by.
...in my world Ragnarök is cyclical. It ruins Asgard, then begins it anew. I am, technically, the third Loki of my world.
One, he who brought Ragnarök to try and reset Asgard to its proper place and station after it meandered to Midgard, but he left its fate to be decided by a being that could vanish it from existence entirely. He took Asgard's place and ceased to be instead.
Two, a child Loki who was reborn from and in the wake of Thor's grief. He won over Asgard and proved a Loki needn't be an enemy.
Three, an echo of the first created as a failsafe. It befriended the second and acted as guide. It was always meant to take the second's place, and so it did. But guilt remained, and in an effort to be better than the first Loki who created it, the echo who took over the second's body decided to work for the All-Mother doing all the unseemly things that Asgard needed doing in exchange for the past sins of Loki to be erased. Erase the old, the bad. New start for the third.
The All-Mother accepted. The All-Mother then made a separate deal with someone else, guaranteeing the third's efforts would be pointless in the end. Because it was better for Asgard.
Me. My mother. My head full of memories from the first and second. Context for you. Ta-da.
