When she answered, Steve stared at her for a long moment. Confused. That wasn't exactly the kind of answer he anticipated. And he had to stop and ask himself if she was joking or not. She had one of those expressions that was difficult to read. In the end, however, he gave an amused laugh. Why? Because he believed her.
"I mean, I was thinking more along the lines of hobbies, but that's a very honorable cause. In fact, come to think of it, sounds a bit similar to my own day-to-day." Steve paused. "Well, maybe not billions of lives. You've got me there. But I'm definitely on the anti fascist side of things."
Steve raised his glass to Sylvie's in a small toast. "Certainly a more interesting pastime than baking or skipping rope. Cheers to that."
