Oh, was there ever going to be a chance Seb wasn't going to join in a moment of community comradery? Not even a chance. He has been largely keeping to himself, getting a lay of the land, with a desire to not be a burden to anyone but talk of a gathering would lure him out. He did bring along one of the books he took from the library as a back up should the night not be as social as he believed it was possible to be but it would become clear he didn't need it very early on.
And he would come up by Eliot at one point in the evening to quietly ask, "Are gatherings such as this common?"
