It takes Stevie a moment to realize he pulled the CD out of storage. The reaction to the CD itself isn't excitement. There's the slightest amount of hesitation, then acceptance.
"Kerry Moonbeam? He's okay, guess. My dad was really into him. He changed his last name after one of his songs. I think it's on the album."
The music was good, but something about the artist rubbed Stevie the wrong way. She couldn't get rid of the CD, but she couldn't quite hold onto it either.
