Sam had left his room and was heading for the kitchen. He was going to grab something for Dave and himself. He hadn't written more of Dave being under his care, but he wasn't sure if Dave wanted everyone to know what was going on. He thought Dave needed some time to himself, then he could talk to everyone if he wanted to. Sam thought that was how the healing process worked.
He made his way into the common room when he thought he heard some frightened kid, but he ignored it and kept walking.
