What: Mercedes is lounging in the library, trying to ignore the events of the day.
When: Tuesday, September 4, after dinner.
Where: Library

Mercedes was trying her hardest not to think about the events that had gone on throughout the day. She had been excited about school starting, had been looking forward to some normalcy happening. But then the Dark Mark, and the mass escape from Azkaban... these things were making it impossible to pretend that things were going to go as they usually did at school. But Mercedes was convinced that she would be able to get her mind on other things, and off the events of the day.
So she was seated at a table in the library, with books open in front of her. Even though school had just started, she found herself with homework. Why woudn't the professors give the students a little break in period, to adjust to being back at school?
