"I believe 'garish' or 'ostentatious' would suffice as well," Hunter added, smiling, and making a sport of it. She was correct though, the word tacky suited it best. He perked up slightly at the mention of New York. Father had taken him there a few times, and it still lived in his mind as the perfect place to be.
