Lonnie tried not to be nervous about going to Bryan Ryan's house but she was. She was afraid she'd start crying and would look disgusting with tears making her eyes red and nose runny. That didn't stop her from getting into the fireplace and flooing to his place. She smoothed out her red sundress and double checked her hair.
As she approached the door, Lonnie tought back to how badly Puck and looked when they'd taken him to the hospital. He'd protected her in the past and seeing him look that beat up was unpleasant to say the least. It left her with a hollow feeling in the pit of her stomach that wouldn't shake. She shut her eyes against the memories. It had been so easy to shrug off Puck's mom's boyfriend when he'd hit on her but that was before DC. She'd all but screamed when he'd tried it again after. Clearly one lesson wasn't going to fix all of Lonnie's problems. She knocked on the door, waiting for the one person she really wanted to see.
