The twins had arrived home only moments ago. Bella had gotten the elves to take her trunk to her bedroom and took the way that went around her father's office to her brother's room. Knowing Nerio he would stop by and say hello to their father but Bella didn't want to deal with anyone but Nerio so she skipped the hello.

Climbing onto Nerio's large bed Bella curled around one of his pillows as the tears came. Since her initial first cry when Misha had told her about his kiss Bella had kept everything in and acted like nothing was wrong or tried to. She hadn't want anyone to know. But now she was home and safe and she could let the tears fall.

Nerio watched Bella shoot off in the opposite direction that he was going and frowned. He's sensed that his twin wasn't well the moment he saw her and this confirmed it. But he had duties. He walked into his father's study to see him busy with the work he'd brought home. He didn't look up from his papers as he greeted Nerio and so the shock at the new blonde hair would have to wait until dinner which, their father assured him, would be held promptly at 8 and he had his sister were to dress appropriately.

That done, Nerio took the stairs two at a time until he got to his room. That's where Bella always went when she was upset. He found her on his bed and crying. He sigh, plotting someone's death even ad he closed the door and put his arms around her. "What's wrong. Rosa?"

Bella shifted so she could snuggle more into Nerio's chest then the pillow as she wiped her eyes. She seemed to be coming to Nerio crying lots lately. She hoped it didn't annoy him. She currently had no one else.

"Misha kissed someone else," she said knowing there was no point in lying. Nerio would be able to see right through it the moment it left her mouth. He was good at that. "I know its stupid to be so upset, we were barely together, but it hurts Nerio. Why didn't anyone warn me how much it hurts?"

Rage flashed through Nerio. He was going to kill the bastard the very second he got the change. "Who?" He asked, unable to keep the anger from his voice. First he'd kill Misha then he'd kill whatever slut had kissed him. They both had hurt his sister and now he had to hurt them.

After a moment, Nerio calmed down and kissed her hair. "I had hoped you would never have to be told how much it hurts. I had hoped even Misha Meru wouldn't be stupid enough to hurt someone so amazing and beautiful."

"I don't know who. Misha never told me," Bells said keeping the information she did know from her brother. She could hear the anger in his voice and knew it meant trouble for Misha. Nerio didn't need to know Misha had kissed a male. She hadn't even questioned Misha on it even though he was known for being straight.

Bella wrapped her arms tighter around Nerio, pressing her face against his chest. Besides Misha there were only two other males that could make Bella feel safe and Nerio was one of them. "You have to say that. You are my brother." Bella sniffled a little as she turned her head. "Is this why you haven't had a serious girlfriend Nerio? Because how much it hurts if it goes bad?"

Well then, Nerio would beat it out of him. He couldn't use any unforgivable curses, but he still knew spells that could leave men begging for death. It would be no less than the bastard had coming.

Nerio made soft, soothing sounds while he moved his fingers through her hair. "Doesn't make it not true." He pressed a kiss to her cheek then and rocked her in his arms. He thought about her question. Etta was his girlfriend (he was pretty sure) but he wouldn't say that they were serious. He saw what broken hearts did. He saw it in the way his father looked at the two of them from time to time. "Yeah. That's why. But Bella, you shouldn't let one boy be the end of your love life. Don't let him ruin love for you."

"The only issue with that is Misha is the only one I want," Bella said with a sniffle as she wiped at her eyes again. She was trying not to think about Misha kissing another person or what would have happened if the guy Misha had kissed wanted him back. Bella was definitely a second choice.

"Thank you Nerio for always being there for me." Her tone was soft but full of love as she practically sat in Nerio's lap as he held her. "I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you."

	"They'll be someone else you want. Someone better for you." Nerio could think of a million other men who he would like better for Bella than Misha. But her happiness meant the world to him and to see her so broken was painful. "You never have to be without me." He rocked her in his arms, kissing her forehead. 	Bella doubted Nerio's words, not with the way she was feeling, but she didn't say anything because Bella knew Nerio only wanted the best for her. And to Nerio and her father Misha was not the best. "And I will always be there for you. I love you Nery," Bella said with a smile on her face, the first one since Misha had told her about him kissing someone else. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Bella snorted softly at Nerio's suggestion but she couldn't help but smile more. Even though it hadn't happen in years Bella liked the idea of Nerio reading to her. "Sounds like a great plan. I will be right back." Then Bella was up off of the bed and heading to her room to grab a book. She was still sad and hurt but at least for a while she could forget about her troubles and just enjoy time spent with her twin.
