Digital Devil Saga has been pretty hard to find for a while now -- though it looks like the rumors of a reprint are true, and you can now get used copies from gamestop for $40 -- but I recommend it to anyone who's kinked for blood, xeno, dystopia, loyalty, or mythology (Hindu especially, but there are others folded in as well). At the start of the game your characters are a squad of soldiers fighting in a bleak post-apocalyptic setting they know as the Junkyard, trying to win the right to go to Nirvana. A disaster on the battlefield infects them all with a virus that transforms them into cannibal demons. Then the game starts. :D
