Round Four: Harlequin Relationship Prompts
The guidelines: - pay no attention to pairing order in the prompts. If you get something more interesting by flipping the roles around, please feel free! - liberal interpretations of the prompts are highly welcomed. :) - the numbers in the prompt list have been stripped except for the character numbers themselves. You can copy and paste the list into your word processor, and then find/replace to put your characters' names in to the right spots.
March One through to Seven: Mixed-Bag from the Harlequin Top Ten Bestsellers The heat between 8 and 1 was becoming impossible to resist. 2 throws caution to the wind and allows 7, and 7's hot body, to make this fling even hotter! 3 once rejected 6 because they did not make suitable partners. So why was 3 seeing 6 again? Heaven help 4 if 7 discovers 4's lie! 1's world shattered at 7's betrayal. Can 2 convince 6 that they are fated for more than just a fling? After years apart, 3 has changed, but 3's desire for 5 hasn't waned.
March Eight through to Fourteen: Dark and/or Possessive 1 intends to school 6 in sensuality for 1's own pleasure. 5 is invaluable—a pearl beyond price. 2 has a contract for their marriage drawn up. Despite the pain 3 caused 4, 4 finds 3 irresistibly attractive. Sure, 2 kissed 8 - only 8 doesn't want to stop at a kiss. 3 is banned from 7's life, but invited to 7's bedroom. The dangerously attractive 6 is not content with 4 simply scrubbing 6's floors. 7 is bailed out by 8—though in return 7 must pay back the debt. The more 5 surrenders to 8, the more powerful 5 feels.
March Fifteen through to Twenty One: Partnership/Relationship Working together for so long, 3 and 8 discover a delicious chemistry beneath their differences. Do they want to become more than partners? 4 and 5's relationship goes from antagonistic fun to hedonism in no time flat. 5 and 6 are in a relationship that is never consummated. 1 and 5 are faced with their own emotional upheaval. They turn to each other for friendly support. Despite the scandal, 2 and 4's relationship was far from over. If 4 isn't careful, 8 might just do something that deserves 4's respect. 5 and 7's styles couldn't be more different.
March Twenty Two through to Thirty: Setups/Scenarios When danger threatens 6, 7 has a chance to show 6 what really separates the good folk from the bad. 1's mission: find the terrorist 4. 2's not going to let (un)death get in the way of a relationship with 3. 1 convinces the outsider 3 that it's not only the locals who want 3 to stay. To 6's surprise, the trespasser is someone 6 knows – it's 8! Used to managing alone, 1 is reluctant to work with 2.
March Thirty One through to April Four: Amnesty Round Post everything that didn't quite get written in time right here.
