Who: Sienna and Riad Where: Sienna's home When: April 10th What: they haven't seen each other since Sienna returned home
Sienna was home. Home and safe. Well, as safe as she felt like she could be. She knew that physically she was safe but the nightmare and the intrusive traumatic thoughts were still there. She wasn't convinced they would ever go away. it was all so fresh and painful. The therapist Johnny and Rhiannon had gotten her kept telling her it would get better. She didn't really know how much she believed. But she trusted Rhiannon. She had been the first to notice something more had happened. She knew what she was looking at from her own experiences. It had been Rhiannon that made sure Johnny got therapy had already started immediately, and they both made it clear that there was no topic that wasn't alright to bring up. They checked in often but allowed her time to process on her own when she wanted it. Sienna was incredibly grateful for both her adoptive parent's responses.
Sienna hadn't been able to see her boyfriend yet. She wanted to. She missed him so much. But at the same time the idea of seeing him and then having to tell him what happened there terrified her. What if he didn't want her anymore? What if he decided he decided to do something stupid and try to fight someone. She knew her attacker was already dead. Honour had made that clear to her. She was safe from at least him. Still, she didn't know how Riad would react and the not knowing was scary for her.
Currently, she was settled on her bed, dressed in lounge clothes that completely covered her skin. it was both comfortable and comforting. She was drawing again, another comic that was different from her normal style. Sienna's drawings were usually bright and happy with a little bit of sass mixed in. Instead, these drawings were darker. They were a new way of processing her pain and confusion.
The silence in her room was broken by a knock at the door and Sienna jumps so hard the pen she was holding flew across the room. She froze for a second as she smelled the air. Riad! She got up to movie to open the door before he could even finish knocking.
