Who: Rebel and Reese
When: Early Evening
Where: Little Sweet Death Weaponry and Services - Rebel is working
What: A first time meeting
Rebel was opening the store today. It wasn't entirely uncommon for her to open the store for Evie and Sugar by herself but today Evie had left a to-do list that was practically as long as the counter. Ok fine she might be exaggerating that but it was still REALLY long. It wasn't really the length of the list that had caught Rebel's attention. Most of the items on there were things she would have done anyway. What really got her attention was the changes Evie wanted her to do to the display window. Rebel was not dressed for it. The summery dress she wore covered her ass well enough but it was not suited for the bending she would have to do to clean and rebuild the display in the window. Neither were her heels now that she thought about it, but at least she would be able to reach things that were normally way out of her reach.
Overall the store was pretty quiet in terms of customers as Rebel went about her normal tasks. She was absolutely putting off the whole window display thing as long as she could. Maybe she could find a way to pretend she had run out of time? That wasn't going to actually happen. Rebel cared too much to let something go unfinished. As such an hour later she was climbing into the window display in her short dress and high heels.
The whole thing probably wouldn't have been so bad if Rebel wasn't also a little bit of klutz. Even in her heels, she needed to stand on her tip toes to reach the top of the display, which she did. She also managed to knock a few several other things over in the process. A few of which only managed to fall again after she had fixed them with a graceful crouch. The repeated falling, along with the building lead to Rebel quickly abandoning the effort to be ladylike as she completed this task. It was going to take her all night if she didn't speed up a little. She committed to all the bending and stretching and lifting she needed to do all while mostly ignoring the fact that she definitely looked like she was the real star of the display and not the fancy new gun she was setting up in the window.
