WHO: Saint and Ryker WHEN: April 8th, afternoon WHERE: The Boardwalk WHAT: Cousins reunite! RATING: Likely medium, these boys have bad mouths ;) STATUS: Ongoing/Open to any!
The first thing Saint had noticed upon his arriving in No Man's Land? It was hot. He wasn't sure how he felt about California's temperature. A lot of people had told him that it was the best climate in the States, and he supposed he could allow them that assessment because the heat didn't come with humidity. Still, London was a far cry from this warm arid climate. He felt a certain nostalgia for grey skies and moisture in the air. Everything seemed too bright, too intense.
He'd definitely have to invest in some sunglasses if this glaring golden glow was going to be an everyday thing.
Despite his trepidations about the weather, everything else was interesting. There was so much life here. London was equally busy, but the perpetual greyness of the sky made it seem like a black and white movie. This place was technicolored. It reminded him a bit of how he lived his own life: bold and in sharp focus. Saint figured this was the type of place he could get used to.
After checking in with Alexus, which really meant getting his first day instructions and making sure Andreas hadn't decided to eat his girlfriend despite their deal, Saint headed out to explore. He had a vague explanation of territories from the vampires, but resisted the urge to go straight to Leopard sections. It might look suspicious, both to the Kiss and the citizens he was trying to integrate with. No, his first stop would be the Boardwalk. Saint had been told it was part of Lion territory, though that mattered little to him. There was something about the breeze drifting from the sea, sprinkled with the moisture he knew so well in London but enhanced with salt and a hint of freedom, that called to him. Shop owners were selling wares or opening doors on either side of the wooden walkway, giving him ample observational entertainment as he meandered at a leisurely pace.
