THREAD: SAORISE & EVON
WHO: Saorise Todd and Donevon Armour WHEN: Tuesday, March 18th, 2051, evening WHERE: Saorise's APARTMENT which is across the hall from Evon's. WHAT: Evon comes over to 'check on' her, on her father's orders. RATING: Low. Possibly high for language.
It had been almost two weeks since she had been kicked off the transport that had been carrying political prisoners for getting scratched by one of the lycans. Saorise had not been pleased about this for obvious reasons and her partner Oz Callen, had refused to leave her, defying orders to stay behind with his partner. Their welcoming party had included none other then her estranged father, whom she had known had been in NML when it had been declared and would have been stubborn and stupid enough to stay behind. She had been welcomed with less then open arms and as soon as he had realized she wasn't being dropped, but was military and special intelligence for the air force, she and Callen had been treated like the enemy. And perhaps they were. She had been abandoned by her country as they had been, one she had been serving faithfully until they unceremoniously reminded her she was an expendable asset. Well the captain of the ship had been unaware of Sao's and Oz's high clearance and that they weren't truly burnable assets unless they had actually been infected. As it stood, Sao wasn't sure if she would be furry the next full moon which was in about a week. After staying for about a week with her father and his 'wife' which was hell in and of itself, she had managed to make herself more then a few enemies and demanded her father let her out of his house. His partner Dahlia had stepped in and informed Bruce Todd that his adult daughter could live on her own, near one of their own, for safety. Sao wasn't stupid, she knew she was being kept under surveillance. Callen had been shipped over to Dylan's and she was given the apartment across the hall to another ex military officer, Donevon Armour. She had met him in passing, but had no intention of making nice with any of her father's boys.
She had been in her own place now for about a week now, and after some hard work fixing up the place and some supervised excursions out into the city to find things to make it her own, as it was the only project she was allowed to do, she had managed to make the place her own. She had even set up a spare bedroom for Callen, having every intention of liberating her partner from her father's lackey when the time was right. Captain Todd was against this idea, hating the idea of his daughter cohabiting with a male, especially one she was obviously so close to, informing her this would happen over his dead body. She had remarked that she could arrange that if he wanted. Jesse had quickly taken her back to her apartment and left her to stew alone. She took this opportunity to change into something more comfortable, a sports top and a pair of comfortable short shorts, since she expected no one to show up, unless it was Callen able to slip his own shadow.
Saorise decided she wanted to move around some furniture, not sure she liked the bookcase with all the books and movies where it was. The brunette picked cleared the area she wanted it in and then started trying to move it on her own with all the things still in the bookcase. This did not go as easily as she was hoping and she ended up tripping backwards on an uneven floorboard, and tumbled to the ground, the bookcase and its contents showering down on her. Saorise was quick enough to throw her hands up in defense, but that didn't stop it from falling on her and pinning her to the floor with a very loud clatter and crash.
