"Well, that's a bonus, I guess." Pete nodded, deciding that even a little progress was some progress, with the added benefit that Kevin wasn't exactly kicking him out yet. He busied himself by opening the back and pulling out the clothes, as if it gave him a reason to stick around more. The first pair of sweatpants, dark blue as opposed to the bright orange ones still in the bag, unraveled, the anklets nearly touching the floor as he held them up. "Like I said, big, but comfortable. Both of them have a drawstring so it should be an okay fit around the waist at least. You could probably just roll them up if you need to."
If he needed to? That seemed a bit silly to think that Kevin wouldn't actually have to considering they were about six inches too long. "The shirts aren't anything special. I tried to find something I might have had hanging around when I was a little smaller, but most of that is probably back home." He made a mental note to check and see if he had any clothes still at his mother's house that could come in handy should issues like this arise again. Not that they would. Right?
