"Unless there's an all metal room around here somewhere I'm not sure there's much better to be done." Kevin shrugged and looked down at his feet, where his toes where starting to show through the rubber boots he'd dug out of a dumpster in the fall. "Someone drew some blood and stuff, but it took five pair of gloves to keep my powers from getting to skin and the rubber thing they put on your arm? It rotted off before they could untie it...I think the needle was ashing too."
He rubbed absently at his elbow and looked back up at Pete through disheveled, ashy bangs. "You're probably not even safe that way. Not anymore."
