There were things that Remy was able to tolerate. Being completely controlled by someone else was not one of them, and while the man was lecturing, going over how important he and his cause were, Remy's anger was building. The man had absolutely no right to march in there like he owned the place, and even less right to decide that he was superior to everyone else. It had nothing to do with mutants and humans, and everything to do with his own goddamn power trip.
Remy glanced at Anna as the mutant spoke. She was beyond pissed, but it was hard for him to really read why beyond the obvious. It seemed as though there was possibly more behind it, but he couldn't be sure and definitely didn't want to assume. When the man looked directly at her to deliver the hiding and curing part of his little speech, Remy made a mental note to ask her about it if he had a chance later.
Thankfully the man released his hold on them, and the second he did Remy was springing into action, grabbing a fistful of peanuts, charging them, and hurling them in the mutant's direction. It wasn't enough to kill him, but hopefully it would at least stun him enough that he couldn't make them freeze up again before anyone had a chance to do something.
Anna was rushing at him too, and Remy continued his forward momentum, ducking low and tackling one of the three goons the man had with him, Smashing the man's head down on the ground hard enough to knock him out for a good while. He leapt up again, spinning and lunging toward the man to help Anna out. He wasn't sure if she was a mutant or not, but the purple man could do a lot of damage, and Remy wasn't about to assume that anyone could handle him alone.
