To say she got hit on nightly at work would not be bragging. It was a thing that actually happened. But, this being a bar, Rogue knew that in the light of day most of the men (and sometimes women) who were flirty and forward would forget about her. Especially those who only came in once or twice. Not that this man was actually flirting with her yet, but Rogue liked his smile and would probably do a little flirting herself before he moved on, or the bar closed. In her eyes, it was all harmless, good fun.
"I'm Anna, and you are?" She turned her back to him momentarily to put his order into the computer on the counter. "And I gotta ask...do you like it spicy or sweet?" With a coy glance over her shoulder she added, "I glowin'ly recommend the spicy."
As they were talking, another waitress came behind the bar and stood with her back to the counter. She was a small thing, timid by the look of her. She was also very new and Rogue paid her no mind for the time being. The new girls either did great right out of the gate got overwhelmed on the busier nights. Her face was pale and her hands were linked together across her torso. After a few minutes she'd likely suck it up and head back out into the fray. It was for that reason that Rogue pretty much ignored her.
With slips coming in at a regular speed, she got busy as soon as she punched in the sampler order. "So what brings you here tonight?" she asked her new friend. "Can't say I remember seein' you before an' I'm pretty good with faces." She had clean glasses lined up on the counter and picked up bottles to spin like a pro. Granted, she was no Tom Cruise in his Cocktail years, but she knew what she was doing. And maybe, just maybe, she was adding a little extra flare to her show tonight.
