Kitty said nothing to reply to the "five o'clock somewhere comment," instead turning her smile to Threnody to try and make her feel welcomed into the room. For someone who didn't know him, Logan could come across as on scary guy. Heck, for someone who did know him he could come across as one scary guy! At least Threnody's first meeting with him would be one where he was relaxed and even a little jovial. It wasn't often he could be found joking around so casually.
As tempting as it was to say something about his being a big boy, and it was clear by her expression that she was biting her tongue on this one, Kitty decided to play nice for the time being. "I do need to go to bed," she mumbled, more to herself than anyone else. It was hard to make herself leave, though, when more people kept showing up.
She snorted at the potential accusation of stolen ice cream and looked sideways at Terry. "Not that Terry would ever do something like that." Actually, it was more like something Kitty would do.
With Threnody slightly behind her, Kitty fought hard against the urge to go intangible. She knew of her mutation, even if just the generalities of it. She felt bad about being uncomfortable, but knew it was human to have those feelings. So, in order to make herself more comfortable without the expense of others' feelings, she grabbed her now empty mug and went to the sink to wash it out. "Don't drink, Threnody. There's really no point in it if you ask me."
With her cup washed, dried, and put away, kitty leaned against the sink and crossed her arms over her chest. "You know what's death? Not getting any sleep. We should all go back to our rooms and try that whole sleeping thing." Looking at Logan she added, "I'm sure you remember where yours is?"
