Logan choked on a sip of water he was taking when she referred to licking carpet. He wondered if she realized what she even said.
Shrugging his shoulders he set the glass down. "Didn't like the idea of this place not being supervised. Not that I'm that good at it if you think about the last time. But still, it left a bad feeling in my gut. So I came."
Logan finished the third piece of chicken and wipes his hands before dragging his fingers through his much longer hair, nearly reaching his shoulders. "Brain wouldn't shut down." Snorting he shook his head. "Mine has that problem after I fall asleep." Raising a quizzical brow he teased. "They're actually trusting you with the minds of the future X-Men?"
Shaking his head he stood and stretched, putting the bones in the trash and putting the box away. "Kitty, nobody saw that one coming. But then again, you always did like to surprise everyone."
He watched her hand disappear, that was still a little amazing to him and he'd seen a lot. But what some of these kids could do was impressive. Well.. that was a first, someone glad to see him. Kitty was one of the few that had been at Alcatraz and knew there was no way around what had to be done. She didn't judge him. "I'm not stayin' permanently. Probably a few weeks."
Logan didn't really like settling down with people, then things got tough when unforeseen circumstances come into play. He'd made that mistake of trying to make a home here and family. He'd already lost Professor, Jean and even Scott though he couldn't stand the guy. He couldn't be put through another loss like that.
