Kurami had spent most of the day training and taking bids for jobs that she wanted to do. It was nice to have more money than she knew what to do with. It was nice to take a job because she wanted it, and not needed it. Currently she was being paid by a Cadence, to be her bodyguard of sorts. To be honest, it didn't seem right at times to take Cadence's money, as Kurami really did like her over half of the time. She knew how Cadence felt about her killing people though, so maybe she needed to cut back on that. What Cadence didn't seem to understand, was that in Feudal Japan, that was how people were dealt with.
Kurami arrived a little ahead of time to make sure things would go smoothly. She was dressed in a black outfit, sans the mask. While she was pretty sure it was illegal to carry a sword in New York, what were the cops going to do? Stop her? Yeah that would be likely.
Kurami walked down the sidewalk slowly, and took everything in. She noted escape points, ambush points, and entry points. She checked alleyways and behind cars, and even lastly, the rooftops. Everything seemed clear, so this wouldn't be a setup at least. Kurami jumped off the top of the bistro's roof and landed just behind the fence, behind June, without a sound.
Kurami leaned on the fence gently, but didn't say a word. She could hear some of the whispers behind her, bewildered about where she came from. She would wait for Cadence to show up.
