She felt a little nervous about going to this meeting if only for the end of her conversation with Ororo the night Scott returned. Had she made her decision yet? If it went in Kitty's favor, it would be another thing on her already full plate. But it was a responsibility she wanted, one she would put above everything else when the time called for it. She'd come around the corner just in time to see Dante turn in to the conference room. They hadn't actually met yet, though she knew who he was. Some of her students had his class right before hers and she'd had to put a stop to some of their comments.
It had been a long day of classes and shopping for her new studio and Kitty still looked like she'd just come from the classroom. She smiled at Ororo and Dante as she went in, giving Scott's shoulder a squeeze in greeting as she passed him. She'd been so busy that she hadn't been able to track him down and see how he was settling in, but knew there would be time, hopefully, after the meeting was over.
She was about to sit when she caught sight of X-23 by the main computer. The younger woman didn't exactly look like she knew what she was doing, so Kitty moved in her direction instead. "Can I help?" Kitty may not have particularly cared for the abrasive mutant, but the computers were her babies. If anyone messed them up, she'd make sure heads would roll. It was better to stop a situation before it even had a chance to present itself.
