Scott got a lot of information that he didn't know before. No one had mentioned Erik living at the school. No one had to him that Ororo welcomed him. That was something he would have to talk to her about when he returned. How could she? Knowing that Magneto always went back to trying to rule the planet. He might be alright for a little bit, but it always ended the same. With Erik killing innocent people. Scott understood why Logan was upset.
As Jean was mentioned, Scott saw that was a dead end. Eventually he would find out. He wasn't mad at Wolverine for doing it. He understood. Part of him just thought it should have been him to kill her, and not this...mongrel. But she took him out of the picture too fast for Scott to have been a problem. It made a lot of sense when he was looking back at it.
"The funniest thing..."He said after Logan said he wouldn't go back without Scott leading, looking the man in the eye. "You are the second person to tell me I should be in charge there. Thing's are like they should be Logan." He looked down at the table as his second beer arrived. When the tender was gone, he looked back up to Logan.
"People who should be here, aren't. The school isn't what it was. On first glance, it looks like everything is fine. But there is the little details no one is mentioning. Like Magneto. If you come back with me, maybe we can do something. But were talking about Ororo here. How corrupt do you really think she could be?"
It opened up the old question: What if Charles really was controlling them? And if he is gone, are people reverting to their true selves?" Scott wasn't sure anymore. When Emma entered his mind, he saw something. A black orb growing and forming a spot in his mind. Now Storm was letting Magneto bunk up.
"I assume Erik is gone, since I haven't seen him or heard about it. But the issue is still there. Why run, Logan?" He took a gulp of his drink, feeling the buzz start to get a little more serious. "Even if you won't admit it, the school means something to you. I know we haven't been best friends before, but in times like this, I can't think of anyone else I would want watching my back."
This was mainly because Logan's brain was fucked. It was damaged to the point where Charles couldn't get in there and screw around too much. As far as Ororo, she was a little more accessible. But he didn't even want to imagine the idea that Storm was twisted into someone he didn't know anymore.
"So the question is, what are we gonna do about it?"
