It wasn't long before he saw the man come through the door. Scott knew if he asked enough people, in enough places, he would eventually find Logan. But what he didn't know, was that he already knew Logan was looking for him. As the man walked toward his booth, Scott got a slight smirk on his face at his confusion.
"Don't know how I am here. Jean didn't kill me, like you all thought. Just removed my memories." He took a sip of a Miller Light he had ordered before looking back to the fellow mutant. "Was a little confused on why no one looked for me, but when I came back I heard the school's main telepathic members were killed. Answered that for me." Another sip as he saw the whiskey be delivered to Logan.
In honesty, Scott was a little drunk, but he wasn't angry with Logan. It just sounded like it. "Everybody would tell me how Ororo took over, and how great the school was going until it got blown to Hell." Taking a soft breath, he exhaled slowly as he locked eyes with Wolverine for the first time in seven years. "The only think they wouldn't tell me, is why you had to kill Jean. I understand it had to happen the way it did, but I would like the details. And that, is why I am looking for you, Logan."
He took another gulp of the beer and sat the bottle on the edge of the table. Giving the tender a signal, he waited for another. "So how about you have a seat, and tell me what happened and why you aren't at the school when they need you." He might not have like Logan, but he respected him. Scott didn't tell Ororo he was going to find Logan, but here he was. Looking at the deadliest man he had ever known.
