Dante let the peppers sizzle for a second as he sliced three pieces of the cheese and placed each on on a different piece of bread, which was quickly covered by the last three pieces of buttered bread. "I like to have sauteed peppers with sandwiches. It makes them less boring." He said with a smile as he continued prodding the peppers to make sure they did not burn, but rather became slightly caramelized around the edges.
Dante looked to the side to see Jean-Paul watching intently. Dante grabbed a knife and a cutting board and began to slice the apple quickly. He pulled some spices out of the overhead cabinet. "Nutmeg and Cinnamon for the apples." He said as he sprinkled the spices on the apples.
He laughed quietly at her response. He imagined her using a bomb on a can of pickles that someone was having trouble opening. He smiled as he took a quick glance at Jean-Paul's hair.
