Logan looked at her, studying her features in the dimness of the room. Marie really had no idea how beautiful she was. And right now he felt like she was the only person he held any allegiance with and owed anything to. When she talked about her walls he shook his head and shifted, slipping his arm around her so she was laying on it and pulled her closer to him. "Well, I am gonna start breakin' them walls down right now. Freedom ain't nothin' ta be afraid of, need ta reach fer it and grab it with both hands then fight tooth and nail ta keep it"
Chuckling he shook his head and tucked a chunk of hair behind her ear. "Trust me darlin, it ain't the last place I'd wanna be." He gave her a wink and leaned his head back tucking her head against his shoulder. He was glad he had taken a shower, last thing he wanted was her smelling some girl on him. It would be a slap in the face about her powers and what she couldn't do. "Well, I guess I did get a little jealous on some level. I was always the one you went to felt a little replaced."
Leaning back on the headb oard he got a little comfortable, no intentions on moving tonight. "Well, ta me you are perfect. Who else woulda treated me like a stray, accepted me and loved me like you did?" Logan knew the answer to that all too well. Nobody.
He raised a brow at her sudden change and shook his head. "No, there's nothin' out there. Trust me." Sneaking up on him wasn't something that was easy to do.
