He laughed lightly as she told him it would take time. He saw that as natural healing. This was just a little faster. But it did make him feel a little better to know they were locked away. It would allow him to be who he was supposed to be.
He watched as she messed with random lab items, wondering if she was right. Did Charles mess with his brain totally? He wasn't sure. Looking back to her, he responded. "I don't know if he did it, or I did. He showed me how to protect my thoughts when I first came. I probably put some in place, he might had helped in other areas, and even Jean could have assisted in the mess in there."
He was still curious about the black orb that was expanding. There was no way of knowing what it was, or what would happen in his brain when it came to maturity. For now, that would be enough messing in his memories though. He didn't really like the experience. "But I've got along fine. I don't think Charles did anything to hurt us. The mess I was in before I disappeared, Charles could have easily mixed my mind up to make me better. But he didn't...He wasn't like that." He looked at the ground as he said the last part. It sounded like he didn't believe himself.
Glancing back up to the blond, he gave a weak smile. "So, Brain Doc. Clean bill of health in there, or what?"
