"I don't know," Warren answered quietly, eyes still on the girl with amusement. "I haven't been back long enough to know if this is the norm or not." Now he looked over his shoulder to see who was talking to him. Warren's brows rose and he extended a hand. "Scott Summers. So the rumors were true." The thing about a school or any type of residential environment - you can't keep anything quiet for too long. Kitty told him first and then he'd heard whisperings from other people all day. "Warren Worthington." Funny how he felt like he belonged here because he'd been part of Xavier's since arriving seven years ago. Except now that Scott was back, the Cyclops, Warren felt like he had no grounds to feel like he was part of anything much. "It's a great pleasure to meet you."
Turning back to glance at the girl, she turned around and they succeeded in surprising each other. Warren caught the broom with his expression mirroring hers. "Paige?" He knew it had been awhile since he'd seen the girl but had it really been that long? She was all grown up now, all legs and golden hair. Wow, so not the kinds of things he should be thinking. He gave her a crooked half smile. "Do you usually dance around the kitchen in the middle of the night?"
He walked further into the kitchen and leaned the broom against the wall and out of the way. "Didn't wake me, I haven't been to sleep yet." Her accent was endearing if only because it reminded him of Paige when she was younger. She'd been more awkward then, sweet and very intelligent, but very shy. It was more what he remembered. Setting his papers on the counter, Warren ran a hand through his already slightly unruly hair and shook his head. "No I'm all right, thanks." His attention went from Paige to Scott and back again. "So how come you two are up?"
