He moved himself from her, seeing the parts that were sectioned off with plastic. Magneto couldn't have done this, because according to the X-23 he was now living here. Scott seriously doubted Ororo was so delusional to let their attacker live in the school. So it couldn't be him, but who else? He would have to get an updated list of new enemies the team had gained over the past half decade.
When Kitty finished, he turned to look back at her. So she needed some test? He didn't really blame her. He would probably be asking the same questions if Xavier or Jean walked back in the front door. He was still dealing with the news of Xavier. Jean...was Jean. He had lost her once, and even after what she did when she returned, Scott found the second death was easier to handle.
"Ororo mostly. I think Logan helped some, and wanted some praise for it...but mostly Storm took over." He was still wondering how things were under her lead. Scott almost assumed Charles would always lead the school. It was a little odd to think of someone else doing it. "And I wasn't dead."
He smiled a little, mainly because he knew how ridiculous it sounded. "From what I can guess, some of Jean was still there. At Alkali, whatever she was tried to kill me. But the real Jean, the woman I loved...She removed my memories." Part of him was proud of that. He knew how unstable Jean was. He knew her powers were always going to be a problem. But even with the Phoenix, or whatever it called itself, Jean was able to stop it from completely killing Scott.
"I woke up alone, not remembering anything. No name, No home, Not even that I had powers. That was an experience. But I had the visor, and have been using it for...I guess it's been seven years." He paused, ruffling a hand through his hair before finishing. "But when I saw how the school had been hit, I remembered. So I am home."
He sighed, pacing around Kitty a little before he realized the condition things had to be in without Charles. "But, really...who did all this?"
