Well Dante completely understood the life being too short part, because it was too true. Dante listened carefully to Jamie's words about Remy. "So, should I not have him come then? I mean, I don't want the class to turn into a circus. Most of the students think that the class is a 'gimme' class anyway." He said as he quickly thought about what two of his students said outside his classroom one day, about the class being a guaranteed A.
Dante had always felt a little uncomfortable talking about what his powers were. It felt a little silly telling people. It felt like he was bragging when he talked about it. "I obviously have physical mutations. The glow from my hair and skin, obviously, and my eyes are even a product of my mutation." He said as he opened his eyes a little wider to show him the deep golden color of his eyes, easier. "I also have enhanced strength, speed, and flight. In addition to that I have another form that I can turn into, if needed." He said quietly. It just sounded weird talking about it, but that was because he was raised not to talk about it. He was raised to fit in, not to stand out. It wasn't that he didn't necessarily want to talk about it, it was that he was embarrassed to do so.
"I am twenty-one. I look younger than I am, or at least that is what I am told." He replied, still feeling a little self conscious. "I'm sure you must have seen her too. She has a skin mutation or something like that. She can turn her skin into other stuff." He answered, and then clarified his answer a little more.
"Interesting. So your clones are able to bring information back to you." He said clearly impressed. He walked gracefully next to Jamie. It was nice to have a conversation that didn't involve a student complaining about having to cook...
