Jamie was wandering the mansion as well, for various different reasons. One, he had been spending a lot of time with Tabitha lately and people were beginning to talk. The last thing he wanted to do was have one of the staff (namely one Hank McCoy) rip him a new one for being accused of less than gentlemanly behavior with someone half his age. Two, he had a dupe on the lose and it was proving harder than usual to track him down. The whole empathic and telepathic link issues seemed to be fading in and out, something that was turning out to be both a blessing and a curse.
Last time Jamie got any sort of reading from his rogue dupe, he'd been headed to the kitchen on the first floor with a copy of Romeo and Juliette in his hands. So Jamie headed there now, wondering why his dupe...and then stopping and deciding questioning it would just not lead him anywhere. "All right you little prick," he said to his dupe as he rounded the corner. "I caught you...now." Except, no. Ne he didn't. "Damn it." He thought he had him this time.
Moving back out into the hallway, he spotted a tall, thin blonde kid coming his way. He'd been at the mansion since the end of January and thought he knew just about everyone by now. But this kid didn't look even slightly familiar. "Hey, you haven't seen me running around anywhere, have you?"
