But then, Warren always looked good. Especially in a suit. Kitty caught herself staring and looked quickly away. But then he was handing her snow white roses and kissing her cheek. She took them and smelled them, smiling into the velvety petals. "Warren, you didn't have to do that. Thank you." She was touched; flowers were not given to her on an every day basis.
As they were ready to head out, Ororo offered to put Kitty's flowers in water and bring them up t her room. it was an offer the younger woman accepted. Linking her arm with Warren's, she grinned up at him. "I thought I was supposed to be the one shmoozing you tonight, not the other way around." Her purse and coat were already hanging in the hall waiting for her. Grabbing them, she folded her coat over her arm and started outside. "So, where are we going?"
