More than once, that wasn't good. But then he worried, maybe she inherited more than the healing and the claws. "Anything else?" He snorted and shook his head. "I always expect for the worst. Kinda best that way if ya ask me."
His brows rose and he didn't have anything to say, hell anything he could say would only ruin that beautiful sentiment. So Logan opted to keep quiet and just enjoy the moment. He couldn't believe he could ever mean that much to anyone. But he did, and he always had to a little girl on a train that went by the name of Rogue.
Nodding he cleared his throat. "Good. Focus is key. Without it you'll never have control, you'll never have yourself back." Logan licked his lips. "Secondly, you have ta accept what ya are Marie, not hate it. Accept those abilities you have, embrace them. Because when ya embrace them instead of reject 'em, well then they no longer have control of you. That's when you can begin to command and execute what you can do to the best of your ability."
Logan held his arm out and the blades emerged with that same usual sound. "You asked me a long time ago if it hurt." Tilting his head he glanced over at her. "Remember what I told you?" It bled a little every time the claws came out, he felt as they cut through muscle and tissue. But the bleeding stopped before anyone ever realized it had begun at all. "You have ta learn ta use that pain, not let it distract you. The pain is what will push you ta be better. It's what you'll use when anything comes against you." He brought the claws up towards her, barely missing the clothes she wore. "These are not what I am.. they are what I use. Ya need to know that about yer powers too."
His brow arched and he actually chuckled lightly. "Most of the time? Darlin', I make ya damn happy all the time and ya know it." Logan nodded and went over to the window, looking out it. "Good, ya don't need no guy anyway. Nothin' but trouble." He couldn't suppress the growl. "Bastard ain't worth a second of yer thoughts if he's been with someone else." Looking over at her he furrowed his brows and shook his head. "Most men, probably. But not all of us need that ta be happy Marie. Girl like you.. whether physical or not." He shook his head and let out a little soft chuckle. "Any man would adore, if he's worth his salt."
He noticed her reaction, heard the fabric of her gloves as her fist formed. "Gimme a few days, you'll forget you even knew this Remy." Logan nodded, made sense to him. What scared him was the idea of a bunch of mutant junkies in need of a fix. "This could get really bad. But I'll be damned if they get their hands on you."
