Lightly he chuckled. "And here I thought you were smart. I know there's a little of me rattlin' around somewhere in that head of yers.. ya shoulda known better than that." They'd been through too much together for him to forget her. "Hell.. hard ta forget someone who's nearly killed me twice." Tilting his head he gave her a wink. "And I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat." He meant it too. Logan would give his life up to save her if it ever came to that again.
They fell into a comfortable silence, which was fine with him. Logan was a quiet guy, a lot could be said in silence without even speaking. Some people though, they had to constantly be going off at the mouth, those were the ones that he couldn't tolerate for more than a few moments at a time. That was one thing he didn't miss about the school, being kept up all night from hearing all the girls through the walls thanks to his hearing. And it was always the same thing, giggling, talking about boys, it made him want to rip his hair out. There were a few times it was him they were talking about and that was just disgusting. Some of those girls had a very colorful vocabulary, and all too wild of an imagination.
"They ever get mouthy with ya, lemme know." He followed where she'd instructed. This wasn't good enough for her, but who was he to judge? She was comfortable it seemed and happy on her own, he wouldn't begrudge her that, even if he didn't like it.
His brows furrowed and he looked at her. "Wait a minute.. this girl got green hair?" Now Logan was beginning to understand the slight familiar scent. Maybe it was people with the same abilities had a bit of the same odor. "Well shit, two of 'em wanderin' around here. And now she's under his wing. Ain't that just perfect." He nodded. "She seemed alright. Wants me to train her or somethin', told her I would if she could figure out a way outside of the school. Only reason I'd go back there would be ta shove a claw up Magnetos ass."
Logan licked his lips, he'd been asking himself that same question ever since he met her. "Claims ta be my clone. One of Strykers experiments."
Everything she was saying made sense and he agreed with her about Xavier. "Can't believe I'm sayin' this.. but I'd give my right arm ta have Scott back right about now. He'd of never let this happen. My pick woulda been Hank. But that's just me." Logan snorted. "Ro just needs a good swift kick in the pants.. or maybe ta get laid. One or the other is sure ta calm her down."
Logan shook his head. "There was still stuff goin' on we didn't know about back then." He sighed, he missed Xavier, but it didn't hide the fact the man had kept his past from him. He'd had the power to end Logan's suffering over things he couldn't remember, but he didn't.
"Don't think it's right ta not be straight with people. And you're anything but slow, the fact you're a girl don't mean a damn thing. Hell, it's comforting for me ta know what you can do. Means someone ever gets outta line and I'm not around, ya can take 'em down on your own." He shrugged. "Well.. at first I did kinda treat you like that. Just didn't have the heart ta leave ya in the snow." With a tilt of his head he gave her a warm smile. "I am too."
Logan hadn't been prepared at all for what was coming. But if he had to describe it in one word when her lips touched his, he woulda chose electricity. It was brief, but long enough to rock him a little. When she pulled back he cleared his throat. "Yer welcome. Might have ta look out fer ya even more if that's the thanks I get."
His brows knit together. "Remy? That Cajun prick that showed up at the school? You really think I'd pick someone like him to watch out fer ya?" Especially when she was able to touch, he was careful not to say that part out loud.
