Laura sat with her fingers curled around the neck of her beer, casually watching different people in the room and trying to see if the people she was looking for were going to be obvious. So far there was nothing that seemed out of the ordinary. Which meant they were either blending in well, or not even there yet. Her dark eyes paused briefly on the girl with green hair only because she stood out so much. When Sean entered, she finally looked away.
Banshee had not been at the mansion during the attack, but he'd arrived after and she knew his face and scent. Whether or not he would recognize her remained to be seen. She could only assume he was sent there by Ororo Munroe, and so made a mental note to herself to keep him in sight at all times.
The man moving toward her now - was he having a seizure? - made her raise a brow slightly. Wow. She'd just barely had time to sit down and already someone was coming over to talk to her. This was going to be a long night. When he sat down beside her, her nose picked up the scent of the mansion. Like a card catalog, she went through every face and scent until he spoke. That was what gave him away. A long night was a gross understatement.
While she and Wade had also never officially met, he was one of the reasons she stayed away from the secondary facilities as often as she did. The man never shut up and most of the time the things he was saying were ridiculous and made no sense. It was something she had very little tolerance for. "I asked for backup and they sent you?" She took a bored sip of her beer and gave a small shake of her head. "Let's hope you fight as quick as you talk." His question did not draw any humor to her expression. Instead, Laura looked him over with an appreciative gaze. "At least you clean up nice." Her eyes lowered to his crotch and she made a soft clucking sound. "If that's half-cocked, I'm going to have to find myself someone with a little more for me to bite into."
