"You're right," Kitty conceded with a slight elevation of her eyebrows. "There is no rule against swimming. In the swimming pool." Her exasperation began to show when she looked at Tabby. "You're not helping." Really, Kitty wasn't a stick in the mud but she was trying to prove how responsible she could be, both to herself and to Ororo. This is not a thing that Ro would have allowed. In fact, if she walked in on this, the end result might have been a bit different.
She took a breath and gave Wade a sarcastic smile. "I understand that a lot of people thing Ororo is the only one they have to listen to. Maybe once in awhile Profesor Cassidy, but I am an instructor here and I've lived here for pretty much half my life. This gives me authority to tell you that a pool in the rec room, alcohol in the rec room, is not allowed."
With her shoulders back and her smile gone, she walked to a nearby window and opened it, letting a quick rush or winter air run through the room. Blue eyes turned to June with meaning. "A little help?"
