June smiled impishly and got under the covers happily. "You can tell her it was my idea and I refused to leave." She'd have no problem telling Professor Munroe as much since it was pretty much the truth anyway. She waited until Kitty had the book and was still again before snuggling close in the crook of her arm. It had been a long time since she'd been able to fall asleep with the protection of someone holding her. Maybe tonight she'd sleep without a nightmare. That would be a nice change.
"I think we were at the part where they met the couple...I don't remember their last names. It was something weird. But they moved into that big apartment with, like, seventy-two bedrooms or something." She lifted a hand to place on the book and looked up at Kitty. "Before we start, I have a question."
June shifted her weight to her side so she could rest her head in her hand. "Will you take me to church sometime? I want to go but I can't drive. Obviously. You wouldn't have to stay with me or anything, but I want to go. I wanted to ask you first because I thought you might say yes."
