She jumped at the sound of the voice, immediately looking around for the source of it. It wasn't Xavier, that was easy to tell by the words alone. Had the voice said something a little more...normal, it might have given the poor girl a heart attack. As it was, Rogue dried her face and got up to look for the place where the voice had come from. She found one speaker as Wade was strolling over. "Is this your idea of a joke?" she barked. Her hand constricted and the speaker caved in on itself too easily for any normal girl. "Who the hell are you?"
His scent registered then. Not having enhanced senses on a normal basis, they weren't something she thought to use in every day situations. But his scent was familiar. Why?
"Respect," she spat, tossing the crushed speaker to Wade, "ain't even close to what this is." Her green eyes narrowed as she took a step closer to him. "How do I know you?" She couldn't sift through the memories fast enough to remember they'd fought together for a brief moment on the night of the attack.
