For the first time in weeks, she was working not to smile. "Interesting," was all she responded with. With a nod of her head, she was motioning for Doug to follow her. They would walk outside. Yes, it was a trek but those secret tunnels weren't hers to show to anyone. The other buildings were a different story entirely. "Seems like a lot of these X-people speak different languages, so you'll be in good company."
She didn't mind his rambling for some reason. Maybe it was that people were always around her now, always talking and she was getting used to it. Either way, it didn't make her want to punch him or anything, so that was progress. It was also interesting that he asked for her mutation before he'd even asked for her name.
Just to show him, her claws came out with a sharp sound, only on one hand, to swipe at a low hanging tree limb that had been blasted from a nearby okay. She cut through it as easily as if it were made of paper and it fell to either side of the path she was leading Doug down. "That's only part of it." Claws back in, she crossed her arms and walked beside him. "Who are you running from?"
