Dun. Dun. DUN!
The gray bushed ladies odd look did not go unnoticed by Wade. C'mon, he was use to getting such looks ever since he learned to talk. He was the only enlightened person in the world so naturally, everyone's utter disbelief was starting to grate on his nerves. And there was only one cure for raw nerves. "Interpretive dance?" He asked of no one and out of the blue.
"Touche, El Capitan." Deadpool replied. She certainly had a way with words. This night had been pretty hardcore. Those with heart conditions or pregnancies clearly weren't fit to deal with the events that had transpired or his tale of heart break, woe, and candied apples. Though she did manage to make an innocent and potentially heartfelt comment sound threatening. Maybe it was Wade's imagination but.. was she coming on to him? "You want the long and short of it all? I was hired." He followed the white haired TILF out of the elevator. "By those nut jobs with the protest guns and matching jammies." He waited for the gasp and look of utter shock. "I'm a merc, I've taken infiltration jobs before. After infiltrating the Kardashian's place an eighteenth time for a panty raid, your mind starts to wander. So I get this call for job. High pay out. Lots of excitement." He rolled his shoulders in a shrug like this was every day stuff. "Here's the big steamy turd ontop of the sweet job sundae: It's a school." What could almost pass for disgust entered Wade's voice. He peeked into the medical facility.
"You guys do good work here." Deadpool said with a glance down to Kitty. The mask concealed the motion of his eyes. "Hubba hubba." All sorts of twisted fantasies passed through his head. The real question was: where could he find a cement mixer full of amaretto at this hour? "Ex-squeeze-me! Didn't realize I was drooling. Must be all that Big League Chew I swallowed during our tango earlier." His head shook again as if clearing away the cob webs. "So after they left, I asked myself what kinda mutant would I be to let something like this happen? I didn't want to find out." There it was. The "truth" according to Wade Wilson.
