The window at the end of the hall next to Lorna's room shattered and a man dressed in a brown duster and boxers flipped through, taking out two men with guns as he did so. They were focused on the door to Lorna's room, the one closest to him, but surprisingly held back from entering.
A man's voice could be heard from her room. Laughter as he mocked the sleeping girl, "That's right! Take it! You deserved what you got in there! You shouldn't have left!"
"Just kill her already!" another said as more of the men turned to face Gambit. The humans in the group weren't very well trained in fist fights and in close quarters like this, it wasn't going to be a gun fight.
The thief moved through them quickly enough, but not before the man inside the room forced more of the memories to the forefront of Lorna's mind. He wanted her to relieve every second of pain she'd ever felt in that box. He wanted her to think she was right back in there.
