Emma had handled the police and rescue. They would be on the grounds for some time, but they wouldn't bother the residents. She had made sure that the surviving attackers were no longer threats. Despite their former commitment to the suicide mission, they had no interest in continuing their crusade.
She re-entered the mansion and let her mind reach out. She was relatively surprised by what she found, and made her way to the 'tea room' She hadn't known that Lorna had come to the school. She was especially intrigued by the company she was keeping. She didn't lose her composure, it wasn't something she did. She wasn't sure she wanted to be the only person standing between the Master of Magnetism and whatever it was he was there for. Out of something akin to respect for the man's stature and power, she didn't even attempt to touch him.
"Ms. Dane, good to see you again. These aren't the most ideal circumstances I must say, but hopefully you are well. " Emma was still in her underwear, but she carried herself the same as she always did, with grace and composure. The man sitting and having tea with the green haired girl was old. He had a great deal of gravitas about him. A very palpable presence. She had met Xavier before he died, and it was a similar thing. The difference was philosophy and how they chose to act on their beliefs.
"Magneto. This is quite a surprise, and a bit of an honor I would say. I'm Emma Frost. I'm part of the faculty, Please don't take this wrong, I mean no disrespect, but why are you here?" She was being respectful because he was the sort of man she had actual respect for. If he was there for a fight he wouldn't be having tea with a girl, he would be levelling the place far more thoroghly than their attackers had been able to. She would strike if he demanded it, but she sure wasn't looking forward to that possibility.
