Lorna looked up, the pain doing a lot to blur her vision, the rest the fault of tears. Either way she could barely see and suddenly was struck with the sensation of staring into a very, very bright light, which just made her head protest even more.
She shook her head, grasping at her mother's medallions partly to remind herself that they were still there. Too much had happened the last few months. Tonight was going to take its toll.
