Doug took the opportunity presented to look around the lab area, keeping his eyes anywhere but on Mystique or her general area.
He licked his lips before answering, heading over to play with some random equipment that was probably valuable. But he wasn't really sure and it looked interesting. Doug didn't feel very comfortable in the space as he got his bearings. It reminded him a lot of the other facility.
"Flatscans took me... from my family... told them I was dead... and they..."
He turned enough for her to see his left arm as he rolled up the sleeve, activating WARLoCK so the interface lines of black and red appeared across the skin. The watch-like object 'stood up' flexing six little legs and scampering up and down Doug's arm - a cable running out of the inside of the mutant's wrist keeping the two hooked together. WARLoCK continued this action for about thirty seconds before settling back where it had begun and Doug rolled down his sleeve.
"They wanted me to talk to machines the way I can talk to people. But I couldn't type fast enough for them... so they did this."
His hands curled into fists, the pain, the terror, feeling as fresh as if it had just been administered, "They need to pay."
