The snow was cold, but Molly didn't complain. He was warm, after all, and she returned the kiss, forgetting her cigarette completely as another familiar warmth spread through her.
There was no resistance on her part. If Mol was anything at that moment, it was eager. Her one safe haven had been burned from the inside out, and her weekend had been a hellish escape that headed towards comical at points and here was a very handsome way to forget all of that and leave it behind.
